Nature Enthusiasts
Isn’t it beautiful how you can always find a deeper meaning to things that seem so minuscule and mundane. Things that you wouldn’t even really give a second thought to, wouldn’t think any thing of it. Like, people who like flowers vs people who like plants. And I’m an over-thinker and over processor but just walk with me for a moment. There really can be a deeper meaning.
People who like flowers may tend to like things that are more aesthetically pleasing. That can show up in ways like in the way that they dress, making sure everything is in its place from the head to the toes. It can show up in the people that they date. In the way they “act “ in situations, they may not be huge reactors, very self controlled because they’re always aware of how it would make them look. They may be more open- minded to surgeries or cosmetic touch ups. Their character may also be a nurturer or more feminine than masculine. A flower needs much more time and care to stay alive than a plant.
While plant lovers, could be less concerned about the aesthetic [ even though plants are beautiful ] but more concerned about the longevity of the plant which could translate to the investments that they make in their personal lives. This could also be said about their relationships. They may not look aesthetically pleasing all the time or they may not put too much emphasis on how something looks on the outside as much as they value the substance. I could even go as far to say that they could be independent people. Plants don’t need their water to be changed daily, some plants even store their water in their roots or soil for when they really need it. Plant people are the long termers, while flowers lovers are the passionates.
Coming Home …
Find your way back home, amazing. You’ve already built a well oiled machine at the place you’ve built for your family. Your job won’t miss you if you schedule a day for yourself. Whether you’re building empires or tending to the love and care of your home and family, your best is needed for the long haul.
It can be hard to steer away from duty, especially when your days are packed with responsibilities that you think you’ll have to show up for for it to run smoothly but you are not a machine. It’s time to delegate those tasks to your village. There is absolutely no replacing you! don’t allow that to be the excuse you use for not getting the proper rest and self care that you so rightfully deserve. An empty cup is an empty cup, although still valuable; it holds content for others, when you pour into yourself the connection goes from a dependent relationship to a reciprocal one. Better said than done? Well, where do we go from here?
Well first, let’s get back to the basics, what are some things that you still like to do? What brings you your own peace? What are some hobbies that you do for just pure enjoyment?
